Epic's official account dropped a playful “please take a number” ticket stub when fans asked for anime collabs. It's a tease, not an announcement — here's what's actually known.
The tease
On October 7, the official Fortnite account on X replied to a fan asking for anime collaborations with an image of a ticket stub reading “please take a number.” That's it. That's the whole tease. No dates, no skins shown, no confirmation — just Epic being Epic and letting the community do the rest.
And the community did. Within hours, the reply was being read as a nod toward two of the most-requested anime collabs in Fortnite history: One Piece and Chainsaw Man.
What's behind the speculation
The One Piece side has real smoke behind it. Multiple leakers have converged on a One Piece mini-season closing out Fortnite Chapter 7 around November 1 — the current season ends November 4, so the timing lines up. Dataminers also found a One Piece description in Rocket League files quoting Gol D. Roger's famous speech, which suggests something is cooking across Epic's games.
Chainsaw Man is murkier. It's been rumored since January 2026 with no confirmed timeline, no leaks of substance, and nothing from Epic beyond this ticket stub.
The honest caveat
Neither collab has been officially confirmed by Epic Games. The November mini-season date is leaker consensus, not an announcement. And this ticket-stub tease has only been reported by one outlet so far. Treat it as what it is: a hint, not a promise.
KongMNG's take
Look, Fortnite doing anime collabs at this point is a “when,” not an “if.” Epic knows exactly what it's doing with a reply like this — drop three words on an image, watch the internet lose its mind for free. One Piece closing out Chapter 7 would be massive, and Chainsaw Man has been inevitable since the rumors started in January. Just don't go spending V-Bucks you don't have yet. Wait for the actual announcement.
